The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy. We’ll explore your current concerns, relevant background, goals for support, and any questions you may have about the process. There is no pressure to share everything at once, the pace is guided by your comfort. By the end of the session, we will usually have a clearer sense of priorities and discuss possible next steps or a general direction for ongoing work.

Sessions are currently offered online via Telehealth only. Appointments are conducted through secure video, allowing you to attend from the comfort and privacy of your own space, regardless of your location within Australia.

You do not need a referral to book an appointment if you are attending privately or through private health insurance. However, if you would like to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a valid Mental Health Care Plan and referral from a GP (or psychiatrist/paediatrician). NDIS self-managed participants can book without a GP referral.
